This is cross-referencing, and a really key A Level skill. You need to compare and contrast the sources to see how they work as a group in answering the question. For example, you might write that sources A and C support the question, as they have similar ideas, but source B is opposed to them and comes from a very different perspective.

A good essay is one which is built on good references. Make sure you start organising your sources from the first step, keeping track of websites, books, journals and publications you're using. Make sure you use a wide range of relevant and applicable resources and be critical when referencing them in your work.
Most essay exams provide you with 10 minutes of perusal time. Use this time to plan out your hypothesis, topic sentences and what quotes from the sources you are going to use in each of your body paragraphs. If you use this time well, your essay writing will remain clearly structured.
